Course objectives

By the end of this course, you will:

  • Understand the project cycle and steps in proposal development.
  • Have explored the modern funding landscape and gain insight in a variety of resource options.
  • Have drafted a concept note and obtained professional feedback.
  • Understand and have practised elements of proposal writing.

Participants should have sufficient English writing skills and bring laptops.

For whom?

This course is for business development managers / coordinators, in public or private development organisations. Country managers or programme officers responsible for resource mobilization, and consultants providing proposal services.
It consists primarily of practical and realistic writing exercises combined with intensive coaching, peer review and professional feedback sessions in a small group of max. 10 participants.
